Arcade Fire Set To Play on Saturday Night Live

Canadian supergroup Arcade Fire are scheduled to perform live on Saturday Night Live this month.
The appearance, which was confirmed by the show’s organisers earlier this week, will take place on November 13th. The performance will be the second time the indie rockers have performed on the show. Actress Scarlett Johannson will also be hosting the episode.
It has also been confirmed that British band Florence and the Machine will be performing on the show the following week, with Anne Hathaway hosting the episode. Saturday Night Live is one of the biggest shows on American network television, and is in the middle of a wave of popularity: the show received over 8.9 million viewers in last quater’s ratings scheme, a number which it hasn’t equalled since 2002.
This month, high-profile artists such as Rihanna, Kanye West and Kings of Leon have all taken to the Saturday night Live Stage.
Arcade Fire are set to kick off a European tour following their appearance in support of their newest studio album, 'The Suburbs', which debuted at number one on the American Billboard chart.
The band will play the following dates:
Dec 1st - London O2 Arena
Dec 2nd - London O2 Arena
Dec 5th - Dublin O2 (On Sale August 20th)
Dec 8th - Birmingham LG Arena
Dec 9th - Cardiff International Arena
Dec 11th - Manchester Central
Dec 12th - Glasgow SECC
