British band Gorillaz have this week announced the release of a digital-only EP. The 'iTunes Session' is available to download now
The release features the group playing a number of well-known songs live including 'Clint Eastwood', 'On Melancholy Hill' and 'Feel Good Inc'. As well as the songs, the download also includes a thirty-seven minute interview with cartoon bandmates Murdoc Niccalls and 2D.
The tracklisting for 'iTunes Session' is as follows:
'Clint Eastwood'
'Dirty Harry'
'Feel Good Inc'
'Kids With Guns'
'Stylo'
'Glitter Freeze'
Damon Albarn has also recently revealed that the band will release a new single entitled 'Doncamatic (All Played Out)', on November 22. The track features guest vocals from up-and-coming British singer Daley.
When asked about his role in the project, Daley told a British magazine: "Gorillaz is just an amazing family to become a part of, I'm not sure how it works with other Gorillaz collaborators, but Damon and I wrote this song together. We definitely agreed that we wanted to write a pop song, so it’s a bit different from a normal Gorillaz song."
