Left With Pictures Album Info and Added Live Dates

Throughout 2010, Left With Pictures set themselves the challenge of recording and releasing a song and video for every month in conjunction with Gideon Coe's show on BBC6 Music, which debuted the tracks on the last Monday of each month.

And now on March the 28th, the new album ‘In Time’ will be released showcasing all the tracks on one CD for the first time – with the band revealing that they will be playing four other shows as well as the album launch party at the Vortex Jazz Bar on April 19th. Left With Pictures will be also performing in other cities throughout England. You can see the dates of the shows below.

Left With Pictures have been praised by critics for their music and their live performances, with Clash Magazine’s live review section describing them as “A sound that's as pop as it gets when it comes to instant gratification, but also soaked in the woozy melancholy of the finest Arcade Fire.”

London's Left With Pictures formed in 2005. They started with three hard-up, classically trained musicians – Stuart Barter, Rob Wicks and Toby Knowles – who forsook the orchestra pit for the sanctuary of Toby’s parents’ loft. Armed with melodicas, guitars, violins, kazoos, ‘found sounds’ and a shoestring budget, they began performing as a band.

In 2008 they signed to Organ Grinder Records, added two new members Tom Walker and Ed Seed – and released an EP entitled “Secretly” which was praised by The Guardian, Drowned in Sound, Time Out and others – as well as prompting their first ever slew of radio play. The band also collaborated with Peggy Sue - releasing a vinyl only EP entitled “Body Parts” under the band name Peggy Sue and the Pictures.
