Red Hot Chili Peppers' New Album 'LSD-Inspired'

Legendary rockers Red Hot Chilli Peppers have told of their LSD-inspired album name.

The Chilli’s new album is currently working with the title 'Dr Johnny Skinz's Disproportionately Rambunctious Polar Express Machine-head' – and front man Anthony Kiedis has revealed that the particularly odd name came from an acid trip experienced by one of his mates.

When asked about the title, Kiedis admitted that it was his friend that had inspired him, saying "He was reminiscing about one of his legendary acid trips, and told us that he had been playing a sold-out show to the planets and moons, and his No. 1 hit was, well, that title."

But Kiedis did continue onwards saying "We found it so funny that we told him for as long as the album was under the radar, that that would be our nickname for it.”, so it is unsure whether that will the exact name of the album when it reaches its release

Their latest LP will be the band’s 10th studio album, marking five years since their last release ‘Stadium Arcadium’, but no release date has yet been set.
