A James Blake b-side entitled ‘What Was It You Said About Luck’ has appeared online over the weekend. The track, which you can listen to below, will be featured as a b-side to his upcoming second single, ‘The Wilhelm Scream’.
The song is a typically restrained piece, utilising Blake’s classical voice training to great effect against subtle piano strokes and occasional bass undertones.
‘What Was It You Said About Luck’:
The single, which is the follow-up to Blake’s hugely successful debut track ‘Listen To Your Love’ will also feature fan-favourite ‘Half Heat Full’, a largely instrumental song which once did the rounds as a circular on the singer’s mailing list.
James Blake has caused waves in the music industry with his debut self-titled album. The singer also dropped in to the BBC studios last month to perform an exceptional cover of Joni Mitchell’s ‘Case Of You’. Keen-eared fans will note that snippets of the track are also pieced into sections of Blake’s debut album.

James Blake embarks on a small UK tour this March. He is set to play the following tour dates:
23rd March - Thekla, Bristol
24th March - St Pancras Old Church, London
26th March - Band on the Wall, Manchester
27th March - Nice n Sleazy, Glasgow
