The original Dr Feelgood guitarist, Wilko Johnson, has announced he will tour the UK with special guest Ian Siegal this September/October.
Johnson's choppy guitar style and interesting dress sense kept pub-rock rocking the pubs during the 1970s. Following a stint with Ian Dury and The Blockheads, the Wilko Johnson Band was formed with ex-Blockhead Norman Watt-Roy on bass and Dylan Howe on drums, adding up to one of the most exciting r'n'b bands in the world today.
Wilko Johnson will play the following UK shows:
Fri Sept 16th - O2 ABC, Glasgow
Sun Sept 18th - O2 Academy2, Newcastle
Thu Sept 22nd - O2 Academy2, Sheffield
Sun Sept 25th - O2 Academy2, Leicester
Fri Sept 30th - O2 Academy Islington, London
Sat Oct 1st - Academy 3, Manchester
Sun Oct 2nd - Rescue Rooms, Nottingham
