The Wombats Confirm Autumn UK Tour & Tickets

Renowned as one of Britain's most exciting live bands, The Wombats are poised to return to UK stages later this year with an Autumn run of dates.
The announcement of these new shows follow the release of The Wombats' upcoming second studio album 'This Modern Glitch', which is slated for release later this month on April 25th. Today the band release the third single to be lifted from the album, 'Anti-D', having already dropped first single 'Tokyo (Vampires & Werewolves) late last year and 'Jump Into The Fog' in January.
So far, on the road, The Wombats have completed two huge sold-out UK tours which included triumphant shows at Brixton Academy, a prestigious one-off headline show at London's Royal Albert Hall and a massive hometown show at the 10,000 capacity Liverpool Echo Arena. They were nominated for Best UK Act at the MTV Europe Awards, and played a plethora of enormous festival appearances including a co-headline set on the NME/Radio 1 stage at Reading and Leeds as well as storming sets at Glastonbury, T in the Park, Isle of Wight and Oxegen.

O2 Academy, Birmingham – 2nd October
Engine Shed, Lincoln – 3rd October
O2 Academy, Sheffield – 4th October
O2 Academy, Newcastle – 6th October
O2 Academy, Glasgow – 7th October
Academy, Manchester – 8th October
