Two Door Cinema Club Reveal Second LP Plans

Two Door Cinema Club have discussed their ambitions for a sophomore album, claiming that they will be entering the studio later this year. In a recent interview with Spinner, the band claimed that they will commence recording on their second album after their scheduled festival appearances this summer.
Speaking to Spinner, frontman Alex Trimble said: "We've just moved in to a house - we're setting up a studio in there, so I guess after festival season we'll have a little more time off and just keep recording and hopefully make another record, or maybe two, and just see what happens.”
The Irish band are booked to play at some of Britain’s biggest and best festival’s this summer, with performances scheduled alongside the likes of Lady Gaga at Radio One’s Big Weekend and Foo Fighters at the Isle of Wight Festival.
Speaking about the growth in public attention over the past twelve months, Trimble said: "It is absolutely crazy. I mean, last year we played the Other Stage at Glastonbury which is sort of like the second stage dine-in. I mean, you're playing with artists that you grew up with and you're playing with the bands that inspired you and the people that made you want to write music and stuff."
