With their optimistic sing along anthems and their massive line-up, I’m From Barcelona have announced seven UK shows for September.
I'm From Barcelona are a band fully embracing the DIY mentality. Fronted by Emanuel Lundgren, who began their long and ongoing story recording a couple of upbeat pop tunes, Lundgren is just 1 of a 29-musician-strong live show.
The band's popularity exploded on the internet, setting the stage for the band to travel to numerous worldwide festivals along with the success of the anthem 'We're From Barcelona' (named as an homage to the Spanish waiter Manuel, a character on BBC Television's Fawlty Towers!)
I'm From Barcelona will play the following UK shows:
16th September 2011 - The Library at HMV Institute, Birmingham
17th September 2011 - The Arches, Glasgow, Glasgow
18th September 2011 - The Ruby Lounge, Manchester
19th September 2011 - Thekla, Bristol
20th September 2011 - Tabernacle, Notting Hill, London
22nd September 2011 - Brighton Concorde 2, Brighton
22nd September 2011 - Concorde 2, Brighton
