Example has claimed that he is “too cool” to collaborate with US ‘X Factor’ reject Cheryl Cole. The rapper, who is fast becoming known as the most vocal man in music after Liam Gallagher, stated that he is not generally a fan of collaborations, especially with “cheesy pop” acts such as Cole.
Speaking to Bang Showbiz, the rapper said: "I'm not really big on duets. I work with cool people. Cheryl Cole, well... I make cool dance music. I don't make cheesy pop stuff.”
He continued: “There are some people who I wouldn't work with, not because I've got anything against them but because they're not right."
Example has had a busy couple of weeks in terms of controversy – the ‘Changed The Way You Kissed Me’ star managed to clash with both Alexandra Burke and The Saturday’s Rochelle Wiseman after joking that the ‘X Factor’ winner was in fact ‘41’. He has also faced the scorn of Cher Lloyd’s online following after mocking her first solo single ‘Swagger Jagger’ when it leaked online last week.
