JLS Seeking ‘X Factor’ Judges Position

JLS have commented on the upcoming series of the UK ‘X Factor’, with Aston Merrygold claiming that he would be a perfect candidate for the judges table. Speaking to Bang Showbiz, the ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ singers discussed their previous involvement with the show, claiming that they’d like to return on the judges’ side of the stage.
Speaking to the website, Merrygold said: "Of course I'd do it, definitely. I think if you are asked to be one of the judges, it shows you've had a pretty good career.I think we would be honest judges – we wouldn't want to give anyone false hope."
Oritse added: "We've been there before so we'd try to be sympathetic to whoever was auditioning. We know what a daunting experience it really is."
The band went on to discuss the perils of fame, claiming that they remain “unchanged” despite the success that they have found in Britain. Merrygold said: "People do treat us differently. It comes with the package, I think. People assume we've changed, but when they meet us they realise we're still the same. At the end of the day this is our job - we want to enjoy it and want it to last. We struggled to get here."
Marvin Humes added: "There are people who try to be friendlier than they were before, but as long as you can recognise that, it's fine," he said.
JLS are set to embark on a summer tour with fellow ‘X Factor’ star Olly Murs this summer. The band also unveiled their new single 'She Makes Me Wanna' recently, which you can listen to below:
