English folk singer, songwirter and multi-instrumentalist Seth Lakeman has announced a run of live UK shows for the run up to Christmas.
Seth’s live show, as with everything else he does, takes the established folk orthodoxy and turns it on its head. His music, which takes the spirit of rock and the timeless, heartfelt subject matter of the folk tale, has seen him nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize. He belongs to several music ensembles, including one with his two fellow folk musician siblings Sam Lakeman and Sean Lakeman. Seth has recently established himself as a solo headlining act.
In July last year Seth Lakeman released his fifth studio album 'Hearts and Minds'.
