Legendary crooner Tony Bennett has announced he is to return to the UK this Autumn, revealing a date for a show at the London Palladium in October.
Born and raised in New York City Anthony Dominick Benedetto, better known as singing legend Tony Bennett, started his career at an early age and went on to achieve his first number one ‘Because Of You’ at the age of 25. Refining his approach to singing and encompassing Jazz into his shows, the singer’s songs were rife in romancing the late 1950’s as he churned out hit after hit.
Famous for songs such as ‘Rags To Riches,’ and fan favourite ‘I Left My Heart In San Francisco’, the 84-year old continues his remarkably career which has seen him release over 70 albums and sell over 50 million records worldwide.
Although the multi-award winning singer hasn’t charted since 1967, this new show will be a rare opportunity to see and hear the legend perform live!
