Tony Bennett is an American jazz and show tune singer from Queens, New York City, best known for tracks such as Because of You, Rags to Riches and I Left My Heart in San Francisco.

Starting his music career in 1949, he signed to Columbia Records, and scoring a hit with his debut single, Because of You, in 1951. He has released over 70 albums, including ‘The Beat of My Heart’, in 1957, ‘I Left My Heart in San Francisco’, in 1962, ‘Duets: An American Classic’, in 2006 and ‘Cheek to Cheek’, with Lady Gaga in 2014. He released ‘The Silver Lining: The Songs of Jerome Kern’, in 2015, and his latest was 'Love Is Here To Stay' with Diana Krall in 2018.
