Urban pop artist Talay Riley returns with a follow-up to his 1Xtra favourites ‘Sergeant Smash’ and ’Good as Gold’ with new single ‘Make You Mine’ on 29th August.
Currently just 20 years old, Talay has already established himself as a household name in the UK urban music scene. Having had his first UK #1 single after writing Chipmunk’s ‘Oopsy Daisy’, he continued his success with two solo singles of his own, a joint single with grime pioneer Scorcher in ‘Good As Gold’ and numerous song writing ventures for chart toppers such as JLS, Jessie J, The Wanted and Tinie Tempah. Now the singer is ready to release another of his tracks, this time with a more sombre and emotional feel which exposes the Riley’s soft side.
Having already toured with N-Dubz earlier this year and Usher, Jessie J and Mike Posner more recently, Talay has already started building a live following for his own headline shows.
His debut album will be released this year and he is currently working in the studio in the UK and LA with a host of producers including Inflo 1st (One Republic), Harmony aka H-Money (a member of Darkchild Productions in LA responsible for Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ amongst others) and Rodney Jerkins.
