An American rapper sparked massive rumours that Radiohead will be embarking on a UK tour next month, after a Tweet was posted earlier today.
Jay Electronica, from New Orleans, Louisiana, has put the rumour mill into motion after revealing that he has a show scheduled with Radiohead in Manchester next month. The Tweet was swiftly removed following heavy attention from the public eye.
“ps, dear England,” wrote Jay. “i have a show with Radiohead in Manchester next month. stop by. it will be amazing.”
Some Radiohead fans may be a bit sceptical of a tour/show because Jay is a rapper and Radiohead are a rock band, but singer Thom Yorke has previously praised a Jay Electronica song after posting it in his office charts – leaving the opportunity wide open for a live performance involving the two artists.
