Legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has today unveiled the ultimate website for his fans, which the musician created and designed himself.
Containing hours of music, videos, sounds, photographs and all kinds of media, www.JimmyPage.com is a fan’s dream and contains all kinds of un-seen and exclusive material as well as hosting various programs and components to do with the star. It also contains a calendar entitled ‘On This Day’, which shows the milestones, achievements and moments that Jimmy experienced on that particular day. The site really is a home from home for Zep heads worldwide.
Jimmy spoke about how the website came into being.
"I've had the domain name for a number of years. I've just been sitting on it and a number of people had made approaches about setting something up and it got to a point that it felt it was the right time to put the website together."
There are already ideas to improve the site including a page for the talented guitarist’s back catalogue and a merchandise shop. These features are to be added to the site soon. You can currently only access the full use of the website if you sign up and register, which is free for everyone.
