The Blackout, Skindred, Funeral For A Friend, Golide Lookin Chain & More Confirmed For Merthyr Rock

Despite only announcing headliners Ocean Colour Scene for the Saturday of Merthyr Rock, tickets have been flying out. Today the full bill for the Saturday is revealed, as a brilliant bill of like minded souls from the UK and from Wales support across two tented stages in Cyfarthfa Park and cement a wonderful line up for this new addition to Wales' great portfolio of festivals.

You'll know the likes of Cast, who have reformed and are touring all of their hits. You'll know and love Goldie Lookin' Chain too, who continue to be a festival, and Welsh, favourite. There's plenty of new bands too - such as Town, who'll open the Main Stage with all intentions of returning to headline it one day and The Liam Gallagher and Alan McGee approved Broken Vinyl Club. As it does on the Sunday, the Saturday bill that champions great new acts from Wales and draws on the burgeoning seed of brilliant bands from the South Wales valleys.
