Darren Hayes Reveals Details Of Limited Edition Vinyl Of New Single 'Talk Talk Talk'

Former member of Savage Garden turned solo star, Darren Hayes, has been away for a while but has returned to the mainstream this year with a brand new album ‘Secret Codes and Battleships’ and tour dates.

The first single from the album, 'Talk Talk Talk', is packed with punchy, synthy dancefloor pop melodies but lyrically is a serious story of lovers at war who need to talk through their differences. As Darren states: “Sometimes relationships end because they've simply run their course. But sometimes they end out of a lack of bravery to say the things that have to be said. This song is about taking one last chance to be brave and say the things you dare not say.  All I want to do is talk talk talk to you.” Darren wrote and recorded the song in Sweden with famous producer Carl Falk, and it was mixed by Robert Orton and mastered by Bob Ludwig. The Radio Edit  of 'Talk Talk Talk' on iTunes also has a B side - Darren's cover version of Madonna's 'Angel'!

As well as digital versions Darren has also produced a limited edition of only 1000 hand numbered purple vinyl 7 inch singles in laser cut cardboard sleeves designed by album artwork artist John Gilsenan. The 7 inch features the album version of 'Talk Talk Talk' on the A side and a vinyl only B side - the acoustic version of 'Talk Talk Talk (Live in the Attic)' recorded in Darren's home studio specifically for the vinyl only release.

The 'Talk Talk Talk' limited edition 7 inch single goes on sale July 31st but it is also available for pre-sale purchase from Darren’s website www.darrenhayes.com. In addition to the 7 inch vinyl single, you can also pre-purchase these ‘Talk Talk Talk’ digital bundles:
