Texan rockers Blue October look like they are set to tour this November ahead of the release of their sixth studio album, ‘Any Man in America’.
Set for an August 16th release, the band will tour their native US before taking their new album to the UK. Only two dates have surfaced so far, but it is very likely that the trip will involve a number of dates across the country. Blue October are confirmed to play at the 02 Academy London on November 3rd, and then at Birmingham’s 02 Academy the next day. Tickets and more info are below.
Blue October are a five-piece rock band from Texas, who have been releasing albums for over 12 years. They have five albums currently out, and a sixth on the way this summer. Their largest selling album, ‘Foiled’, has been certified platinum in the US and Canada, and was followed by another well-charting album in 2009’s Approaching Normal, which reached #4 in the US Alternative charts. Next in the queue is ‘Any Man in America’ – could this album take the band to the next level?
