Young Guns Reveal Support Acts for UK Tour

Alternative rockers the Young Guns have announced the support acts for their forthcoming UK tour this September.

The English five-piece will be joined on their seven-date excursion by American pop-punkers Every Avenue, Scottish post-hardcore trio The Xcerts and Australian rock act Dangerous!. The band headline three shows in Scotland before heading south to London, Birmingham, Newcastle and Manchester.

Young Guns vocalist Gustav Wood is excited at the prospect of playing alongside such a diverse and talented group of bands, and released this statement with the announcement:

"We love this bill and having these great bands from around the world agree to play our shows is a huge deal for us. Along with the biggest production we've yet had, and a couple of new songs going into the set list, this tour is a real turning point for us and is not to be missed! See you there!"

Young Guns UK & Ireland Tour Dates are as follows:

Fri September 9th 2011 - The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen
Sat September 10th 2011 - Queen Margaret Union, Glasgow
Sun September 11th 2011 - The Ironworks, Inverness
Mon September 12th 2011 - University of Northumbria, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Wed September 14th 2011 - Academy [1, 2, 3 and Club Academy], Manchester
Thu September 15th 2011 - HMV Institute, Birmingham, Birmingham
Fri September 16th 2011 - HMV Forum, London
