Kids In Glass Houses Prepare For Release Of Third Album 'In Gold Blood'

Kids In Glass Houses will be spreading gold dust all over the UK as August 15th sees the release of their highly anticipated third album ‘In Gold Blood’.
The band have been going down a storm this summer at Wakestock, T in the Park and Sonisphere festivals, and they still have a performance at V Festival to go on Saturday 20th August and Sunday 21st August, at Chelmsford and Stafford.
Lead single, ‘Animals’ is playlisted on BBC Radio 1, Kerrang Radio, GMG’s Rock Radio Network, XFM, NME TV and Scuzz TV. Check out the video below.
A flurry of activity is lined up for release week, including some special album launch gigs, lots of club nights with plenty of giveaways, and a clutch of instore signings around the country. Full details below.
ALBUM LAUNCH GIGS:
Sunday August 14th - Cardiff - Nation Radio presents Kids in Glass Houses at Solus. A truly Welsh affair with local support from Straight Lines and Save Your Breath. Doors 7pm.
Tuesday August 16th – Birmingham - Kerrang Radio presents Kids in Glass Houses at HMV Institute. A packed out punk rock gig with the band signing for each & every attendee post-set. ‘In Gold Blood’ albums will be available for sale on the night and come with a free KIGH poster & sunglasses! Doors 7pm - tickets are only £7.50 and can be picked up here.
Wednesday August 17th – Glasgow - 96.3 Rock Radio ‘Secret Session’ - Intimate acoustic performance with post set signing & snaps with the band. Doors 7.30pm – Tune in to 96.3 Rock Radio Scotland or www.rockradio.co.uk from August 8th for your chance to win tickets.
IN-STORE SIGNINGS:
Sunday August 14th - midnight signing at HMV Cardiff (53-57 Queen St, CF10 2AS). 350 wristbands will be available from the HMV Cardiff store from 11am on Sunday 14th August onwards - one wristband per customer.
Monday August 15th – 6pm signing & acoustic performance in HMV London (150 Oxford Street, W1D 1DJ)
Tuesday August 16th – 5pm signing at HMV Birmingham (The Pavilion, 38 High Street, B4 7SL)Wednesday
Wednesday August 17th – 5pm signing at HMV Glasgow (235 Buchanan Street, G1 2NG)
Thursday August 18th – 12.30pm signing & acoustic performance at Pulp Manchester (Unit 27, Ground Floor, Manchester Arndale, M4 2HU) – albums purchased will include a free KIGH poster & sunglasses!
