Wilco, Four Tet, Wolf Alice And Mogwai Lead First Names Announced For Green Man Festival

Green Man festival has revealed the first acts for this year's line-up.

Now entering its third decade, Wales’ largest independent music, science and arts festival will return to the picturesque Glanusk Estate in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park in August for its sold-out 2026 edition.

Leading the first wave of artists are Chicago indie-rockers Wilco (led by songwriter Jeff Tweedy), electronic producer Four Tet and London's BRITs 2026 Group of the Year Wolf Alice, who headline the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Scottish post-rock band Mogwai will top Thursday's opening bill.

Also confirmed for the line-up are Cat Power (who will celebrate the 20th anniversary of 'The Greatest'), Sparks, The Beta Band, Aldous Harding, Anna Calvi, Baxter Dury, Cate Le Bon, Dry Cleaning, Nation of Language, Wednesday, Shame, Mannequin Pussy, The Beths, Fcukers, Daniel Avery (Live), Smerz, Sorry, Panic Shack, Westside Cowboy, Maria Somerville, Tyler Ballgame and many more you can check out below. Green Man will also welcome back Charlotte Church and her acclaimed Late Night Pop Dungeon.

Alongside the musical line-up, Green Man's 16 stages also span comedy, science, talks, circus and cinema. Other highlights of the weekend include yoga in the Nature Nurture area, Welsh beer and cider in the Courtyard, and free activities for ages 0–11 in Little Folk and creative workshops, games and more for teens in Somewhere.
