Olivia Rodrigo Announces All-Women Daisy Chain Fields Festival With Chappell Roan, KATSEYE And More

Olivia Rodrigo has announced her own festival, and it's all for charity.

The inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival will take place on August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California. Taking to social media to reveal the initial details and share the all-female line-up poster, Rodrigo wrote:

"truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all. i’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and i am so ecstatic its finally coming true!! Daisy Chain Fields features an all-women lineup and 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls. the lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. i firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that. I absolutely cannot wait to scream and dance and sing with you guys August 29th!!!!"

The triple Grammy Award-winner will perform at the event alongside special guests Stevie Nicks, Karen O and Sarah McLachlan, as well as Chappell Roan, KATSEYE, Doechii, Bikini Kill, Die Spitz, Eli, Garbage, Mitski, Not For Radio, Quiet Life, Rachel Chinouriri, Santigold and The Breeders.

Fans can register their details on the Daisy Chain Fields website for a code to access the ticket pre-sale at 10am local time tomorrow (June 24). General sale details are still to be revealed. Net proceeds will go towards non-profit organisations advocating for women and girls.

The announcement follows the release of Rodrigo's third album, 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love', on June 12. It features her singles drop dead and the cure.

The singer and songwriter will support the record with The Unraveled Tour, spanning North America, Europe and the UK between this September and next May, with the latter leg including a staggering 11 shows at The O2 in London. Tickets are on sale now.
