One of rock's biggest heavyweights, Saxon, have announced dates for a UK tour this December.
A leader of the 80's new wave of British heavy metal, Saxon scored chart success from singles such as '747 (Stangers In The Night)' and '...And he Bands Played On'. Now, nearly 35 years since their formation, Saxon are still rocking hard and released new studio album 'Call To Arms' in June.
With the new album being warmly received by fans, Saxon have revealed plans for a new UK tour this December which will see them play venues in Oxford, Leicester, Edinburgh, Sheffield and London. Having one of the biggest followings in heavy metal, it wouldn't surprise us if Saxon announce more dates to meet demand for tickets during the weeks leading up to the tour.
Expect to hear Saxon showcasing new material from 'Call To Arms' as well as the old favourites. Support on the tour comes from Hammerfall.
