Explosions In The Sky Announce January 2012 UK Tour & Tickets

Texas instrumental post-rockers Explosions in the Sky have announced UK shows for early 2012, adding to their already confirmed date at London's Brixton Academy on 27th January.
Formed in Austin, Texas in 1999, Explosions in the Sky consist of Mark Smith on guitar, Chris Hrasky on drums, Munaf Rayani on guitar and Michael James on bass guitar. They released their debut album ‘How Strange, Innocence’ in 2000 and in 2004 they wrote and recorded the score to the film ‘Friday Night Lights’ starring Billy Bob Thornton.
The band released their sixth album ‘Take Care, Take Care, Take Care’, the long-awaited follow-up to 2007’s ‘All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone’, earlier this year in April. The will be promoting 'Take Care, Take Care, Take Care' out on the road in January 2012, playing venues in Belfast, Glasgow, Leeds, Gateshead and London.
