Noel Gallagher told fans through his Twitter the acts he would be taking on tour with him this October, as well as revealing that the tour had sold out.
The autumn excursion will see Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds team up with psych-pop band The Electric Soft Parade, young singer Murray James and rock n’ roll six piece Folks for six dates across the country, which will see the emerging acts appear at some of his dates this October.
Support for Noel’s Dublin gig has yet to be announced, but you can catch the ex-Oasis man with Electric Soft Parade in Edinburgh, Manchester and one of the London dates. Murray James and Folk share the remaining two London dates between them.
The dates aren’t ones to miss, especially as it’s Noel’s first venture as a frontman. He spoke about the hassle of being a band’s leading figure.
“I've got to start again from scratch,” Noel said. “I'm not a frontman, now I have to be the guy up the front giving it all the jazz hands. I've been in a band with a great frontman, and I was a great guitarist and backing vocalist who chirped in with the odd funny quip. It was perfect. This is just a major pain in the bollocks. But I'm getting used to the idea.”
