Smashing Pumpkins Schedule US and European Tour - UK Tour on the Way?

Reformed Chicago rockers The Smashing Pumpkins have announced a set of US and European dates for this autumn – with a UK tour expected to be announced shortly.
The band have been working on what will be a ninth studio album in ‘Oceania’, which is part of their 44-song concept album ‘Teargarden by Kaleidyscope’, and are set to release it online in ‘late 2011’ - a CD copy is expected in 2012. With a whole LP’s worth of new material, plus a back-catalogue of eight albums and five extended plays, the band have more than enough ammo to take on their native America as well as Europe – and that’s exactly what they’ll be doing this autumn and winter.
After announcing their US and European dates on their Twitter in the past few weeks, the band tweeted again earlier today saying: “Look for more European tour dates to be announced next week...”. With mainland Europe already receiving dates, it looks most likely that they’ll reveal a UK tour, which would probably be scheduled for December.
