Def Leppard are set embark on a UK tour with Motley Crue this December. The tour will see them play six UK dates with Steel Panter as special guest support. Def Leppard and Motley Crue Tickets are ONSALE 9AM TODAY, Friday 2nd September.

Speaking about the upcoming tour, Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott says, “I can't tell you enough how thrilled I am to announce this tour!! ... we always strive to make our shows an event and to have Motley Crue & Steel Panther along for the ride makes this an event that just can't be missed for rock fans across the UK!! ... come join us on what will be the event of the year!!”
For Motley Crue, these will be the first shows since their 'Carnival Of Sins' tour in June 2005 (apart from Download and Sonisphere festival appearances). Crue will also be releasing a brand new expanded Greatest Hits package which will include the Crue Fest DVD in November 2011.
Crüe’s bassist Nikki Sixx commented “Motley Crue is excited to do some destruction with long time peers Def Leppard on tour this holiday season..We have never toured together so hopefully there will be some de-virginizing of each-others fans and in the end one fucking wild party together.”
The co-headline tour kicks of at Birmingham LG Arena on December 6th winding up at London’s Wembley Arena on December 14th. Special guests will be the irrepressible Steel Panther.
