Some Velvet Morning Announce New Single and Tour Details

Indie pop group Some Velvet Morning release their brand new single ‘Don’t Think’ on October 24th through MyMajorCompany.
The track will be available as a download and also as a 500 limited edition gatefold 7” single, which will all be hand signed by the band, and comes with its own music video too. The song is both brooding and anthemic with echoes of Peter Hook’s trebly bass and U2’s ringing guitars.
The video for 'Don't Think' was shot in a sweaty boxing gym at the National Stadium in Bangkok, with the band performing in the ring, as two female Thai boxers fight it out on camera. The idea for the video came about after they played a show at Rachadmanoen Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, as part of 'Heavyweight Rock the Ring.’ If you can imagine the ‘Girls on Film’ video by Duran Duran meets the Frankie Goes To Hollywood clip for “Two Tribes”, then you would be on the right track, but featuring fewer politicians!
They will be extensively touring the UK to coincide with the single release - initial UK south and south east dates are below – more dates will follow soon.
