Ex-Razorlight Drummer Andy Burrows Announces New Solo Single, Live Date & Tickets

Former Razorlight and current We Are Scientists drummer Andy Burrows has revealed details of a new solo single entitled ‘If I Had A Heart’. The single is due for release on 3rd October and is the first to be taken from the forthcoming follow-up to his 2008 debut ‘The Colour of My Dreams’. Burrows will precede the single’s release with a live date at London’s Hoxton Underbelly on 21st September – see below for tickets.
Andy Burrows released his debut solo album ‘The Colour of My Dreams’ in 2008, shortly before leaving Razorlight to pursue other projects. All proceeds from ‘The Colour of My Dreams’ were donated to a children’s hospice in Burrows’s hometown of Winchester. Last year, he went on to release ‘Sun Comes Up Again’, the first album from his new solo project I Am Arrows. In 2009, he joined We Are Scientists to replace the group’s original drummer Michael Tapper and helped to record their fourth album ‘Barbara’. He is currently on tour with the band in Asia.
In addition to his solo releases and his work with We Are Scientists, Andy Burrows is also currently busy on a number of other projects and has recently been writing and recording with Mark Ronson and Editors’ Tom Smith.
