Hayley Westenra Confirms Spring 2012 UK Tour & Tickets

New Zealand soprano, classical crossover artist Hayley Westenra has announced a UK tour for Spring 2012, confirming shows in England and Wales for March.

Westenra began her professional recording career at the age of 12 when she recorded 'Walking in the Air', a demo album done for friends and family, of which only about 1000 copies were made.

Some time later, following the demo album, Hayley and her sister Sophie decided to busk in the New Zealand's Christchurch streets. As the duo built-up a large crowd a journalist asked the girls if they had ever recorded anything which then led to Hayley appearing live on New Zealand's CTV. With the show being watch by a concert promotion company, Hayley was promptly signed to the Universal New Zealand label and became one of the world's most popular classical artists.

Hayley recenty released her 'Paradiso' album in collaboration with Italian maestro Ennio Morricone. It was released worldwide, on 18th April 2011.

Mar 8th - Pavilion Theatre - B'mouth, Bournemouth
