Cradle of Filth to Release New 2-Disc Mini-Album Next Month

Suffolk-based metallers Cradle of Filth are to release new mini-album ‘Evermore Darkly…’ on 17th October through Peaceville Records. The new release follows the band’s ninth album ‘Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa’, which was released last year, and will include a DVD featuring on-the-road documentary ‘You Can’t Polish a Turd, But You Can Roll It In Glitter’ and live footage from this year’s Graspop festival in Belguim.

‘Evermore Darkly…’ features a selection of rarities and new tracks such as ‘Thank Your Lucky Stars’. It also includes a remix of ‘Forgive Me Father’ by Anthrax guitarist Rob Caggiano, demos of tracks from ‘Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa’ and an extended version of ‘Lilith Immaculate’. ‘You Can’t Polish a Turd, But You Can Roll It In Glitter’ follows Cradle of Filth on tour during their recent European dates, combining interview footage with live performances.

Speaking about ‘Evermore Darkly…’, the band’s frontman and founding member Dani Filth said: “It is a much-loved musical stop-gap between albums. A pleasure treasure trove of wild and wicked wonders primed especially for fans. Something for them to sink their teeth into this autumn as the Cradle invasion fleet is primed for future contagion.”
