London Underground chiefs have banned the placement of promotional posters for Metallica and Lou Reed’s new collaboration album ‘Lulu’... because it apparently looks too much like graffiti.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t know anyone, neither have I seen any graffiti using blood as their main colour, and I’m sure it is a rare sight to see the top half of a mannequin ‘tagged’ around anywhere in the UK. But according to Transport For London officials, the artwork, which you can see on the right, apparently represents vandalism – which is a major problem on the capital of England’s tube service.
Metallica posted a 30-second clip of a track from the massively-anticipated album on YouTube today, ahead of its release on October 31st. ‘The View’, which is the first single to be taken from the album, hits shelves on September 27th. Check the clip out below.
