Swedish House Mafia to Make 230911 Announcement Tonight - Tour on the Way?

House DJ and production trio Swedish House Mafia will be making a very special announcement today, as the mystery of their 23/09/11 campaign is revealed.
 The three members will be appearing on Pete Tong’s Radio 1 show tonight, where they and Tong will be making the special announcement. According to the group’s official Facebook page. Tong will first tease the announcement at 9:05pm tonight, before a full announcement on the band’s 230911 mystery website, 230911.com, at 9.14pm. The full revelation will then finally be revealed on radio by Tong at 9.20pm.
The whole 23/09/11 secret has been kept well behind doors and no-one really knows what will be announced, but as you would have expected, fans are buzzing with excitement and forums are full of speculation as to what will be revealed come this evening. But as usual, there are no stopping music followers and one rumour surrounding the announcement has a particularly stronger case than others.
The trio teased fans about the announcement at Creamfields earlier this month when they displayed a huge picture with clock faces (see on the above right) covered with jumbled letters and numbers. To the normal person the mess of symbols would have meant nothing, but diligent SHM fans managed to arrange the letters into this acronym – SHM ONS – MSG 16/12/11 – MKB 14/07/12. To the normal person this still may mean nothing, but to speculating fans, it stands for SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA, ONE NIGHT STAND – MADISON SQUARE GARDEN 16/12/11 – MILTON KEYNES BOWL 14/07/12.
Although nothing official will be said until later tonight, the rumour is a logical and well-thought one and could very well turn out to be true. They could be stand-alone dates, or they could be the start and end of a world tour, or, the rumour could turn out to be just speculation. There’s only one way to find out though, and that’s to listen out tonight!
