Justin and Taylor Hawkins Set for Rock Supergroup?

The Darkness’ Justin Hawkins could be spawning a new rock supergroup with Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, it has been revealed.
According to the Daily Star, the singer, famed for his high-pitched vocals, could even move to guitar duties to allow Danish singer-songwriter Mads Langer to take over the vocal duties, while Hawkins would remain on drums.
Hawkins’ ex-fiancé Sue Whitehouse, who also previously managed The Darkness, told the paper of the plans – which could also involve her as a singer.
“Justin's more musically varied than people give him credit for,” Whitehouse claimed. “We often talk about forming a band with me singing, Justin playing guitar and Taylor on drums.”
While the band would contain members from both The Darkness and the Foo Fighters, the two bands would almost certainly continue on – the Foo Fighters have been playing epic gigs across the country – including two star-studded performances at Milton Keynes Bowl, and The Darkness have reformed following their 2006 split and are recording a new album.
