With less than 24 hours until the onsale of tickets for The Stone Roses two Manchester shows, fans are bracing themselves for the frenzied rush to secure their place at what will be two of the biggest reunion concerts ever.

The Stone Rose announced on Wednesday, 18th October, that they have reunited with a plan to “take on the world” following two massive shows at Manchester's 75,000 capacity Heaton Park on June 29th and June 30th 2012.

With tickets priced at £55.00 it is estimated that The Stone Roses will pocket £8.25 million in gate receipts from the two homecoming shows alone, not to mention the huge amount they will receive from their world tour which will kick-off after the Manchester shows.

The £55.00 price tag has had a mixed response from fans, with Kevinjmcmanus posting via Twitter. "#StoneRoses tickets £55 are they having a laugh #Manct***s I wanna see christs #resurrection for that money."

On the other-hand, miiaaow tweeted: "£55, more than i was hoping but pretty much what i was expecting, it'll be worth every penny #stoneroses."

The Stone Roses Tickets are onsale from 9.30am tomorrow, Friday 21st October, with a huge rush expected for tickets despite the steep price.
