Hertfordshire-based rock trio The Subways have announced the release of ‘It’s A Party’, the latest single to be taken from their third album ‘Money and Celebrity’. The track is due out on 21st November and follows the band’s previous single ‘We Don’t Need Money to Have a Good Time’. Watch the video below.

The Subways recently completed a UK tour, which culminated in a sold-out show at London’s KOKO. The trio are currently heading over to Europe to continue their tour. Introducing the new single at most of the band’s recent dates, singer Billy Lunn said: “We wrote this track about each and every one of you.”

Last month, The Subways released their third album ‘Money and Celebrity’, the follow-up to 2008’s Butch Vig-produced ‘All or Nothing’. On their latest offering, the band worked with renowned indie producer Stephen Street, who is well-known for his work with Blur on the band’s first five albums.

The Subways were formed in Welwyn Garden City in 2003 and released their debut album ‘Young For Eternity’ in 2005. The album included several of the band’s most well-known tracks such as ‘Rock and Roll Queen’ and ‘Oh Yeah’. Since the release of their debut, The Subways have featured regularly on the UK festival circuit and have become known as a cult live act.
