American alternative rockers Cake will be returning to Europe next week to tour their current album 'Showroom of Compassion'.
Prior to the sold out shows in London, Paris and Amsterdam earlier this year, Cake had not been to Europe since 2006 or the UK since 2007. Looking forward to introducing new tracks to their European fan base, John McCrea said, "We look forward to returning to Europe. There is no good excuse for such a long absence."
Vince DiFiore revealed, "It's good for our spirits to leave the customs and conventions of the U.S. behind for a short time, and to gain perspective. Performing for European audiences again reminds me of the importance of being a citizen of the world."
'Showroom of Compassion', out now, debuted at Number One on the Billboard chart when it was released in America and was met with rave reviews from critics in both the US and Europe. The band have also been welcomed on Late Night television with appearances on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno', 'Late Show with David Letterman', 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', 'Late Night Jimmy Fallon' and 'Conan'.
