Fresh from supporting X-Factor star Matt Cardle in London last month, singer-songwriter and YouTube sensation Gabrielle Aplin has announced five new shows for February and March 2012.
Gabrielle Aplin became something of an internet sensation, notching up over 3 million plays on You Tube and becoming the Number One unsigned act on Myspace. Her combination of beautiful vocals and self-taught piano and guitar musicianship draws influences from Damien Rice, Jamie Cullum, James Morrison to Paramore and Joni Mitchell
Gabrielle released her debut EP in September last year and her second EP, entitled 'Never Fade', saw Gabrielle expand her sound, showcasing a more folk/pop sound. The EP was released earlier this year in May and reached the Top Fourteen in the UK. You may have already heard featured track 'Panic Cord' on the television show 'Made in Chelsea.'
In response to the overwhelming demand received from Gabrielle’s army of fans, February and March 2012 will see Gabrielle play a short five-date UK tour.
Gabrielle Aplin UK Tour Dates are as follows:
February 2012
Feb 29th - Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff
March 2012
Mar 3rd - Masque, Liverpool
Mar 5th - King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, Glasgow
