Black Sabbath Set To Rake In £100 Million From Comeback Tour

Tuesday, 15 November 2011 Written by Elliott Batte

Ozzy Osborne and co. are finally back together, bringing rockers the best news they’ve heard for a while. At a press conference earlier this month, they told fans and press that it was legendary producer Rick Rubin who managed to convince them to reunite. But now we think we’ve found the real reason – as it emerges that the band could pocket around £100million from their up and coming world tour and Download Festival slot.

The mass amounts of money, which would leave each member with a very tasty £25million each, will be generated by huge shows in massive sports arenas around the world when the band organise their world tour at some point next year. And, aside from their tour, Sabbath will earn a fair few pennies for headlining Donnington Park’s iconic Download Festival, which will be celebrating its 10th anniversary alongside Metallica.

And if the tour and festival appearances weren’t enough of a money spinner, Black Sabbath will be returning the studio to put out their first new album in 33 years – which will surely sell millions of copies worldwide.

No official dates have been scheduled or confirmed by the band yet – but it won’t be too long before some dates are organised and you can start planning your days off work! Stereoboard will fill you in as soon as news surfaces.
