Exhausted Rihanna Turns To Beyonce After Tour Breakdown

Reports running through the wires have suggested that RnB diva Rihanna came close breaking down and cancelling her latest gig.

If not for the last minute phone call to pop sensation Beyonce, RiRi may have never taken to the stage at the O2 Academy in Dublin, the latest stop on her mammoth world tour!

The 10,000+ fans would have had no idea to how close they came to being sent home without seeing the Diva, and if Beyonce hadn’t worked her magic, it could have all turned sour!

A source said: "She's been partying hard to take her mind off things, but there are days when she wakes up and doesn't even know where she is because of the travelling. It's no wonder she is feeling down."

The American singer had just been announced she is the first ever singer to have simultaneous hits at Number One in both the singles and album charts twice in 12 months.

Earlier this year, Rihanna had Number One hits in both music charts with her album ‘Loud’ and single ‘Whats My Name’. Her record breaking feat was achieved when her sixth and latest studio album ‘Talk That Talk’ went straight to number one, while her single ‘We Found Love’ featuring Calvin Harris remained top after six weeks at number one!

However, it is no wonder the 23-year-old is exhausted, after beginning her Last Girl on Earth Tour back in April 2010. The tour spanned across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, accumulating in 67 shows that ended in March 2011.

With ‘Loud’ becoming a huge success by the end of the tour, she began touring again on June 4th 2011, performing 33 venues across North America before heading to Europe, where she supported headliner Eminem at this year’s V festival.

After playing both legs of the V Festival in August, the jet setter had four stops in South America, before returning for another 56 in Europe, finishing at the O2 in London on the December 22nd!
