Dance-pop icons S Club 7 could be making a sensational return to the music scene in the coming months, after Steps made a successful comeback earlier this year.
Steps announced their reunion back in summer, and have since managed to top the UK album charts and sell-out an arena tour of the country. After seemingly liking the look of a reunion, S Club 7 have apparently began talks to get back together in similar style – complete with TV show, tour and album.
A source told paper The Sun: “S Club have seen what's happened to Steps and want a piece of it. They're hoping to make a TV show following their reunion, a tour and the release of an updated Greatest Hits album – just like Steps.”
Paul Cattermole, Jo O’Meara and Bradley McIntosh, three of the original steps members, still tour the country together as S Club 3 – albeit in less sizeable venues like pubs, clubs and universities. But, the potential reunion would see the remaining four get back on the bandwagon so they can play at some of their older, much bigger haunts – and receive a huge pay check while they’re at it.
