Get People Release Free Download of New Track ‘Macaw’ – Listen Now

London-based trio Get People have announced the release of their forthcoming EP by offering fans a free download of new track ‘Macaw’. The track, which can be listened to below, follows the band’s recent EP ‘Rain Tears’ (video below) and can be obtained by visiting the Get People website or Facebook page.
Speaking to Clash Music earlier this year, Get People’s Caspar Leopard said: “The idea behind Get People was the love of dance music across the board – dubstep, hip hop, techno, electro – we flavour the tracks with our favourite production and then layer it with some melodies over the top. In terms of pop and indie bands, it’s really far reaching. Dom and I, who share all the song writing, are very influenced by Ray Davies and the early pop-rock stuff.”
Going on to talk about the group’s forthcoming releases, he added: “We write every week and we’re looking to release an album next year. We don’t have any finite plans but that’s the goal. We’ve got an album’s worth of material but we want a lot more music before we commit.”
In addition to a number of festival appearances, Get People have previously supported Metronomy, The Wombats and Crystal Fighters on tour.
