The Vaccines Confirm Short Seaside UK Tour For May 2012

Indie-rockers The Vaccines have announced plans for a short seaside UK tour next May.

The Vaccines have enjoyed a sensational 2011 which saw the release of their debut album ‘What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?’ in March. Speaking to NME last month, The Vaccines are currently writing new material and revealed they are keen to release a second album that is different to their debut.

"Guitar bands in particular seem to get in the habit of making the same record over and over again, and I think we're really keen to avoid that," frontman Justin Young said. "It's the natural thing to do, isn't it? 'What did people find attractive in us first time round? Oh, better not lose that then'."

The Vaccines recently revealed their new video for 'Tiger Blood', a song that was inspired by the catchphrase of troubled actor Charlie Sheen. Produced by Albert Hammond Jr, 'Tiger Blood' is to be released with new album track 'Wetsuit'.



The Vaccines 2012 UK Tour Dates are as follows:

May 2012

May 2nd – Dundee Caird Hall
May 3rd – Bridlington Spa
May 4th - Blackpool Empress Ballroom
May 7th – Brighton Centre
