Tickets for The Cribs' 2012 short UK tour were snapped-up by fans pretty quickly this morning, fear not if you were unlucky in securing tickets though, the Wakefield trio have confirmed more live dates will be announced next year.
Confirming shows in London, Edinburgh and Leeds for February and March 2012, The Cribs will be showcasing new material from their forthcoming fifth studio album. Produced by Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips) and David Richards (Queen), the as-yet-untitled album is set for release in early Summer 2012 and will be the follow-up to 2009 album 'Ignore The Ignorant'.
The new album will be the band's first offering of new material since former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr departed earlier this year.
The Cribs 2012 UK Tour Dates are as follows:
Feb 28th – London, ULU
Mar 1st – Edinburgh, Liquid Rooms
Mar 3rd – Leeds, Metropolitan
