Hard-rockers The Treatment have been forced to postpone tonight's Cardiff show and tomorrow's Bath show due to illness. Singer Matt Jones has lost his voice, however, the band are working on rescheduling the dates for January 2012.
The two shows are part of The Treatment's 'Medication For The Nation' December headline tour, which comes in the wake of an Autumn European run with Alice Cooper and an appearance at the sold-out Hard Rock Hell event in Prestatyn, Wales, earlier this month.
Debut studio album, ‘This Might Hurt, available now, features 11 original tracks (the likes of ‘Departed’, ‘Shake The Mountain’ and ‘Nothing To Lose But Our Minds’), plus a cover of ‘Road Rocket’, a song originally recorded by early-’80s UK rockers More. The UK version of the album comes complete with 2 bonus tracks.
The Treatment may still be young, but their influences are largely drawn from the classic names of the hard rock genre – the likes of AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, Def Leppard, Aerosmith and Guns n’ Roses. The band also have deep and collective regard for the works of the Clash, the Pistols and early Dr Feelgood.
Both Cardiff and Bath tour shows have been postponed, The Treatment's 'Medication For The Nation' UK tour will pick-up again at Sheffield's Corporation on 16th December.
