George Michael Released From Hospital

Singing icon George Michael has been released from the private Austrian hospital he was staying at following his bout of pneumonia.

Michael had been in there for a number of weeks, after being forced to cancel shows in Cardiff and London subsequent to his fight with illness. He was, for a while, moved to the intensive care unit, but luckily, his condition progressively got better – and now he’s been released just in time for Christmas.

His partner Fadi Fawaz has been constantly tweeting about the star’s health, writing “Christmas at home. I cannot stop smiling today, the best day ever. Nothing to worry about, happy days.”

Fawaz will be especially appreciative of the news, after doctors yesterday refused to comment on whether Michael would make it out in time for Christmas.

Stereoboard will keep you up-to-date on all things George Michael – he’ll be rearranging his cancelled tour dates in the near future, so stay connected!
