JLS' Aston Injures Knee - And Sparks Ridiculous Twitter Trend

We all know how wild some pop fans can go over their favourite singers, boy-bands and groups, but yesterday’s JLS action on Twitter really took the biscuit – after #prayforaston began trending when fans had learned he had HURT HIS KNEEE.

The lads are gearing up for their UK tour, which kicks off in March, and haven’t been taking it easy while rehearsing their lively dance routine – which includes all kinds of stunts, flips and tricks. Unsurprisingly, one of the boys suffered a minor injury – and their fans were worried sick.

Aston informed fans of the damage through the official JLS Twitter account, writing: “Isn't it great when the doctor says you need an x-ray!! :( not the one Axx.” He then later posted “Physio for me knee it is then! And with tour round the corner! Dooooh!! Good start 2012!! Lol Axx.”

While it’s fair for fans to be concerned for their favourites, especially as there’s a JLS tour on the way, some of the reactions were ridiculous – and a lot of Twitter users didn’t appreciate that #prayforaston was trending.

While there are much bigger problems in the world that we’d love to see put right, I guess we are glad to say that the injury will not damage any JLS tour plans.
