New Lostprophets Track Up For Free Download - Check Inside

Welsh rock icons Lostprophets have put a brand new single up for free download on their official website, after revealing yesterday that their fifth studio album ‘Weapons’ would be released on April 2nd.

The band premiered the track ‘Better Off Dead’ this morning on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show, and have put it up for free download. You can stream the track at the bottom of this page through Soundcloud. It will feature on ‘Weapons’, which is the follow-up to 2010’s ‘The Betrayed’. Let us know what you think of the track in the comments section below.

Lostprophets signed up LA producer Ken Andrews for the forthcoming 'Weapons'. Ken spoke about the partnership on his blog last summer commenting: "Lost Prophets approached me in November of last year. These guys have had some huge success in their home territory of the UK. Arena level tours.

“They had a big hit here is the states in 2004 with the song 'Last Train Home' from the album ‘Start Something’ which sold just shy of a million copies. They have been relatively quiet here since, but that’s all about to change.”

If you’re a fan of Lostprophets, stay glued to Stereoboard – we expect a tour to be announced in the next couple of weeks. We’ll let you know as soon as the details surface.
